John Natalie, 84, of Houtzdale, Pennsylvania, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026, surrounded by his family.
Born on September 14, 1941, in Osceola Mills, he was the son of the late Frank and Marie (Sidorick) Natalie. John was a dedicated businessman who owned and operated Natalie's Auto Salvage for over 40 years.
On September 30, 1976, he married Nancy (Greenaway) Natalie, his loving wife of 50 years, who survives him at home. Together they built a life centered on family and shared memories.
John is also survived by his children, Susan Natalie Lopez and John Natalie Jr. and his wife Michelle; grandchildren Ronald Lopez, Suzanne Banas, Jordan Forcey, Claudia Lopez, Angeline Grove, Lexus Natalie, Stassi Natalie, and Kingston Natalie; as well as six great-grandchildren. He is further survived by his sisters Jeanne Papol, Vera Turner, and Marie Michaels, along with numerous nieces and nephews who were deeply cherished.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Dawn Marie Hibbs; and two brothers, Emanuel "Sonny" Natalie and Ronald Natalie.
John found joy in spending time with his family. He loved boating, fishing, attending horse shows with loved ones, and traveling to watch his son and grandson race. Known for his storytelling and humor, John had a knack for bringing smiles to those around him.
A Celebration of John's Life will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Brisbin.
