Jon was born in Marietta, OH and grew into adulthood working with wood in all its forms as a carpenter, a builder, and an accomplished carver. He particularly enjoyed his friends at the Sno-Valley Senior Center, looking forward to lunch and game time there.
He survived 7 years beyond his diagnosis of prostate cancer. Jon is survived by his daughter, Mary Mattea Kraft, his brother Gene Kraft, and his sister Jill Kraft.
The celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 29 from 2 to 4 PM at the SnoValley Senior Center, 4610 Stephens Ave, Carnation, WA 98014. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the SnoValley Senior Center.
As a tribute to Jon’s love of repurposing everything, the family asks that you wear something you got second hand to the celebration of life.
