Jonathan David (Yetman) Davis passed away on January 23, 2026 at Lahey Hospital Burlington, with friends and family by his side. He was born August 5, 1971, to Cynthia and David Yetman and after their divorce and remarriages (to Scott Davis and Pat Quinn respectively), found himself with four parents, all of whom played a part in raising him. He spent most of his childhood in Wenham and graduated from Hamilton Wenham Regional High School in 1989. As a young man Jonathan loved spending time in New Hampshire and was a first class water skier. He spent a decade of summers at Camp Brookwoods on Lake Winnipesaukee, where he developed a passion for the quiet outdoors and built lifelong friendships first as a camper, and then as a staff member. As part of the trip staff, he was a mentor to countless campers, leading rock climbing and rafting trips, treks through the White Mountains and canoe trips on the northern waters of Quebec. This passion led him to earn his Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician accreditation. After time away in college and in Seattle, he returned to the North Shore and found his calling in the kitchen, cooking in half a dozen local restaurants, and also dabbling in catering, fishmongery, and really good barbecue along the way. In the last few years, Jonathan discovered his deep desire to help others, and he was passionate about, and patient with, all kinds of people from different walks of life, working with the elderly, volunteering his time to cook for the hungry, and making connections with those less fortunate than he was. He is pre-deceased by all four above mentioned parents and his beloved pup Logan, and his survived by his brother Derek, his sister, Emily, nieces and nephews, and his partner in life and cooking, with whom he lived in Beverly for 20 years Sara Polsonetti. Donations may be made in Jonathan's name to the Grace Center of Gloucester by visiting here: https://lifebridgenorthshore.org/donate/, or you may honor him by getting involved directly in their work. A service will be planned for later in the year, details will be posted at https://facebook.com/jonathan.Davis.7505
