Jonathan Michael Morris, age 37, of Brooklyn, NY, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home on December 19, 2025. Born in Colorado on August 29, 1988, Jon was a vibrant individual who cherished every moment of life and touched the lives of everyone he knew with his generous spirit and big heart.

After graduating from Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado, Jon attended Colorado State University, where he received a Bachelor of Science Major in Business Administration. He joined the leadership and social fraternity ATO and quickly took on roles from social and philanthropy chair to President. He also took on a campus-wide role as an Executive Member of the CSU Greek Interfraternity Council, where he directed Greek Week, Homecoming, and served as the VP of Leadership Development. For these contributions, Jon was awarded the CSU Greek Man of the Year in 2009. These many leadership roles while in college shaped him and helped lay the groundwork for a successful business career.

After graduation, Jonathan joined the recruiting industry, working with Insight Global in Denver. Soon after, he transferred to New York, NY to help open their new office. It was here in New York that Jon met his wife Keely, and where they built a life together.

A lover of all things technology related, Jon found his true calling when he entered the mobile application development sector. He worked at notable companies such as Golden Gecko, DMI, and Fueled, where he was consistently recognized as a top producer. In early 2025, Jon was excited to join the global technology company BairesDev as Senior Client Engagement Executive on the Enterprise Sales Team, where his contributions were quickly felt.

Jon passionately followed Alabama college football and was an ardent fan of the Denver Broncos, celebrating each game with the same zest and energy he brought to all his pursuits. He loved traveling, flying Delta (especially first class), a beach vacation, Heady IPAs, Legos, Harry Potter, F1, everything Yeti made, smoking meats, the US Open in Queens, fantasy football, and, most especially, a good brunch. He was everyone's go-to for Tech Support, and will be remembered fondly as we struggle with each new Apple iOS update.

Jonathan is survived by his loving wife, Keely Morris; children, Emerson June and Gregory Jack; mother, Michele Morris; brother, Chris Morris and his wife Katie; sister, Jenny Palmer and her husband Ben; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Greg Morris.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor and live-streamed on Facebook on Saturday, January 24, from 2-3 pm ET. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his memorial fund at Go Fund Me (https://gofund.me/92de6d8a5), where donations will support his wife and young children and continue to reflect Jonathan's lasting impact.
