After a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer, Jonathan Paul Zetts, Sr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 8, 2025. Diagnosed in February, Jonny endured a full pancreatectomy in March and spent the next nine months intentionally enjoying his life and family while doing the things he loved the most. He hosted family cookouts, made breakfast in Pop Pop's kitchen, went on Harley rides, and—as always—made everyone laugh.

Jonny graduated from Richard Montgomery High School in 1970. He gave his life to the Lord on March 22, 1976 and, soon after, met the love of his life, Sharon. Together they raised their six children and shared forty-seven years of marriage. His love for the Lord gave him the grace and joy to be his wife's full-time caregiver for twenty-one years after she experienced a traumatic brain injury.

Running his own business as a general contractor for many years, Jon took pride in his work. He never met a stranger and valued the opportunity that his job gave him to connect with people. A pillar in his church community at King of the Nations, he enjoyed ministering to the next generation.

Jon had a larger than life, generously funny, loving personality. His favorite thing on earth was spending time with his wife and children. He loved to talk about his relationship with Jesus, who was the source of his joy and strength.

Jon is survived by his wife Sharon and children: Heather and her husband Alex, Jonathan, Michelle, Joshua and his wife Ashleigh, Deborah, Rebecca and four grandchildren, Alexander, Sophia, Gabriella, and Mackenzie. He is also survived by his sister Wendy and brother Greg.

In the end, he wanted it to be known that he loved Jesus.

Well done, good and faithful servant.
