On June 7th 2025, we lost a fierce friend, a loving son, and a dedicated brother. Jonathon R. Allain grew up in Lunenburg and graduated from Lunenburg high school in 2000. He stayed in Massachusetts until finally moving to Palermo Maine in 2017. Jon loved spending time outside hiking, canoeing, and observing nature. He had a gentle, sensitive soul and did not hesitate to lend a helping hand to family or strangers. Being a Godly man, he was deeply thoughtful and in touch with the energies around him. He left his mark by touching the lives of everyone he came into contact with. After years of battling health issues, at age 43, he was taken from us much too soon.
He loved his family deeply and leaves behind his mother Judi Warner of Westminster, MA; brother Michael (Johanna) of Westminster, MA; brother Kurtis (Heather) of Ashburnham, MA; his two nieces Mikayla and Kellyn; three nephews Collin, Mason, and Miles; his dog Freya; as well as many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. He was preceded by his father Ronald Allain of Westminster, MA.
In the words of Jonathon...
"I try to explain to you life is what you make it, do good things for yourself and for others and in some way in life it will be returned to you in a great sum."
We ask friends and family to join us for a service at St. Boniface in Lunenburg on Saturday November 8th at 1:00 immediately followed by a Celebration of Life at Hollis Hills Farm in Fitchburg from 2:30-5:00.
