In Loving Memory
We honor the life of Jordan Christopher (Anriu) Banks, whose presence brought warmth and light wherever he went. Born in Kansas City, Missouri, on August 30, 1994, to Christiann Banks and Lloyd Seales, Jordan lived a life marked by kindness, authenticity, and a deep care for others. He departed this world on March 4, 2026, and we find comfort in knowing he is now with his Lord and Savior.
Jordan was genuine, kind-hearted, and deeply caring, always thinking of others before himself. He had an easygoing spirit that naturally drew people in, along with a contagious smile and a sense of humor that could brighten any room. He was someone people felt instantly comfortable with, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.
He graduated from Ruskin High School in 2013, where he excelled in tennis, and later attended Metropolitan Community College, where he pursued interests in communication and automotive repair. Over the years, Jordan worked in various fields, but he was especially drawn to roles that allowed him to connect with others, including hospitality and security.
Jordan found joy in spending time with his friends and his beloved dogs, Kronos and Dewars, who were constant companions. He also had a passion for bodybuilding and staying active, and was always open to new experiences. Wherever he went, he brought a steady, welcoming energy that made others feel at ease.
A man of faith, Jordan was baptized at Grace Point Baptist Church at the age of 19 and later dedicated his life to Christ at Abundant Life on November 23rd, 2025. His faith remained a quiet but steady foundation in his life.
He was deeply loved by his family and friends and will be missed beyond measure. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Sean Lessane. He leaves behind his beloved brother, Daniel Scott; his brother, Paul Lessane; his sister, Andrea Fleet; his uncles Anthony, Danny, and Rickey; his aunts Sandra and Norma; and many cousins, along with all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Jordan will be remembered not only for who he was, but for how he made others feel. The way he showed up for others, with kindness, warmth, and authenticity, will never be forgotten. His spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Services will be held April 18th, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Abundant Life Church, located at 1840 Cherry St., Kansas City, MO 64108. Street car access is available by exiting at 19th & Main, then walking four blocks east to 19th & Cherry.
