Jordan Cameron Willey, 24
January 11, 2001 - November 5, 2025

Jordan Cameron Willey, 24, passed away on November 5, 2025, in Los Angeles, California. Born on January 11, 2001, in Charleston, South Carolina, Jordan lived a vibrant and passionate life that touched many and inspired even more.

From an early age, Jordan demonstrated a remarkable drive and charisma that would define his journey. He attended Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner, where he quickly emerged as a leader among his peers. As captain of the mock trial team, he led them to the state championship, a testament to his intellect and determination. His leadership extended far beyond the courtroom; he served as student body president and was elected class president every year. His passion for civic engagement led him to attend Palmetto Boys State and later receive an invitation to Boys Nation, an honor reserved for exceptional young leaders. He returned to these programs as a counselor for many years, mentoring others with the same enthusiasm that fueled his own ambitions.

Jordan also played on the golf team and was an active member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society. Never one to shy away from taking initiative, he planned Berkeley High’s first-ever homecoming dance and winter festival, events that brought joy and unity to his school community. He certainly left a mark on his community, and was voted both "Best All Around" and "Most Likely to Get Away with Anything."

Jordan continued his academic journey at Wofford College, where he majored in government. There, he founded Wofford’s first mock trial team and was actively involved in the Pre-Law Society and Campus Union. He was also an active member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon, where he created many lasting friendships.

After college, Jordan worked on Senator Tim Scott’s presidential campaign, a role that combined his love of politics with his desire to make a meaningful impact. But it was in Los Angeles where Jordan pursued his lifelong dream: acting and modeling. With characteristic energy and optimism, he threw himself into this new chapter with unwavering commitment.

Jordan had a magnetic personality full of humor, energy, and light. He loved theater and drama not just for performance's sake but because they allowed him to express himself fully. Whether on stage or simply among friends, Jordan thrived in the spotlight. He had a unique ability to bring people together with laughter and warmth; those who knew him often remarked that there was no one quite like him.

His hobbies reflected his diverse interests: from birdwatching to golf, from political debate to dramatic performance. He was deeply social, someone who could strike up a conversation with anyone and turn any moment into something memorable.

A religious man who trusted God deeply, Jordan carried that belief with him through every endeavor. Throughout his battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, he placed his faith in God. Even in the face of uncertainty, Jordan’s life reflected a deep belief that he was never walking alone.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Roxanne Willey of Moncks Corner; uncles Randall “Randy” Willey of Westland, Michigan; Ralph Willey (Tonja) of Cross, South Carolina; Richard “Rick” Willey (Melody) of Pendleton, South Carolina; and grandfather, Larry Willey of Goose Creek. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Patricia “Pat” Willey of Goose Creek.

Though Jordan's time on earth was brief, he lived more fully than many do in a lifetime. His boundless ambition and zest for life continue to inspire all who knew him—to chase dreams boldly and live each day with purpose.

May his memory be a guiding light for those who carry forward the joy he brought into this world. A Memorial Service will be held on April 19, 2026, at 01:00 PM with reception to follow at The Daniel Island Club, 600 Island Park Drive, Charleston, SC 29492. Flowers are welcome.
