Jose (Joey) Iniguez

Jose Calixto "Joey" Iniguez, age 70, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, in Clarksville, Indiana. Born on March 19, 1956, in Louisville, Kentucky, Joey lived a life filled with curiosity, humor, and love for his family.

Joey was the beloved son of the late Jean Dattilo Iniguez and Calixto Iniguez. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Iniguez. He is survived by his son Carey Alexander and daughter-in-law Pamela Iniguez. Joey was a grandfather to Nichole, Maggie, Jason, Donte, and Logan. He also leaves behind his loving sisters Maggie (Harold Gardner) and Ana (Edwin Castellanos), as well as his nieces and nephews Brent, Tim, Laura, Katie, Anita, Daniel, Nina, and Paul.

Joey had a lifelong passion for science and motorcycles and found joy in reading. His inquisitive mind and love of learning were constants throughout his life. Recently, Joey experienced a profound spiritual transformation when he gave his life to the Lord—a decision that brought him peace and comfort.

Known for his sense of humor and quick wit, Joey brought laughter to those around him.

A memorial gathering to celebrate Joey's life will be held on April 18th from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Gardner Family Home. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor his memory.
