Joseph Edward Bajt

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph E. Bajt, son of Joseph and Lucille, who passed away on February 18, at the age of 78. Joe was a person with a passion for boats and having a fine cigar with his friends. He leaves behind his wife Kathleen, sister Beverley, 3 sons- Joseph, Ryan, Matthew, and 7 grandchildren. He served his country as a lieutenant in the Army National Guard. Later he attended Lewis University and received his master’s at WIU in microbiology. Joe went on to direct the Will-County Health Department laboratory and ended his career as a managing broker of a Merril Lynch office. A service will be held on February 28, at 10 A.M., at Saint Jude's Church in New Lenox. Family and friends are invited to attend.
