Joseph R. Cellura — known to everyone who loved him as Joe — passed away on June 21, 2025.
Joe grew up in upstate New York, and over the years also called Florida, Malibu, and Lake Tahoe home. No matter where he lived, he brought warmth, laughter, and that unmistakable smile that could light up any room.
Joe loved telling stories, and he had a way of making people laugh, and want to experience part of the adventure. He found joy in travel, a deep love for golf, and endless pride in his wife, Emelia, and their daughter, Lily, who were the heart of his world.
He didn't want a funeral — that simply wasn't Joe. Instead, he asked that we go out and celebrate life: share stories, laugh loudly, love deeply, and never take a single day for granted.
Joe lived his life to the fullest until he was no longer able to, his spirit will always remind us to live boldly and smile often.
