Joseph Bryan Finley,64, of Dade City, FL, passed away on March 20, 2026. Born on July 15, 1961, to Neva W. and William R. Finley. Joe was known for his blunt honesty, quick wit, and generous heart.
Joe dedicated much of his professional life to supervising and managing underground utilities, working with several companies such as Center Line Construction, Ripa, Southern Bay Construction, and Daniels Construction. His knowledge and leadership were admired by colleagues and peers alike. Ultimately, Joe reached his goal to gain his contractor's license and become owner of J.B. Finley, Inc.
Joe placed his family above all else and cherished the time spent with them. He was a self taught guitar player, he loved to fish, and going fishing with him was always a memorable experience. One of his favorite past times was panning for gold from the creek, hoping to find a big gold nugget.
Joe leaves behind his beloved wife of 45 years, Tina Finley; his fur-daughter Skeeter; daughter Savannah Gavish and son-in-law Jacob Gavish; son Joe Mack Carter; grandchildren Liliana, Jayden, Jake, Taylor, Lauren, Abbigale, and Alyssa; Great Grandchildren Xavier, Weston, and Anaya; sister-in-law Sara Danielle Hasson, raised as a daughter, brothers-in-law Kevin Hasson, Glenn Yarbrough, and Russell Yarbrough. He was a cherished uncle to Cody Hasson (Amelia) and Jordan Singh (Anthony) and great-uncle to Riley, Rowan, Jaxson, Priya, and Jasmine, along with many others; brother Tim Finley and wife Kathy; sister Sandra Haney; sister-in-law Sherry Finley.
A man with many titles, cherished by all who knew him as Husband, Dad, Pe-Paw, Uncle, Brother-in-law, Brother, and Friend.
