Joseph Laturell

Joseph Laturell, 36, left his earthly home to enter his heavenly eternal home on November 22, 2025.

Born on July 21, 1989, in Hollywood, Florida, Joseph spent most of his life in Illinois surrounded by the natural beauty of farmland and nature. He found joy and peace in the outdoors surrounded by nature whether kayaking. hiking through wooded trails, and playing frisbee golf with friends. He returned to his birthplace of Florida August 2024 to spend time with his loving sister Jacqueline and enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephew. He also enjoyed the beauty of the peaceful ocean. These passions reflected his deep appreciation for nature and his adventurous spirit.

Joseph was known by those who knew him as a loving, empathetic, and compassionate individual. He held a special place in the hearts of many as a wonderful son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend. His warmth and kindness left lasting impressions on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him and peace to all who carry his spirit forward.

Survived by his mother Lisa Rivera and husband Angel Rivera. Sister Jacqueline Laturell, nephew Shawn, niece Erin, niece Mika, niece Alana, and nephew Eli. Brother Lee Laturell, nephew Ethan, and nephew Evan. Uncle’s Brian and Jerry Becker ( Nancy Becker ). Many cousins and friends.
