Joseph Edward Perdomo

Joseph "Joe" Edward Perdomo, 37, passed away suddenly on November 3, 2025, from cardiac arrest. Born on January 25, 1988, in Portland, Maine, Joe was the beloved son of Nancy and the late George Perdomo.

Joe grew up in Portland, graduating from Portland High School before moving to Boston to attend Fisher College where he was the first person in his family to graduate with a bachelor's degree. After college, he returned home briefly before settling in New York City, a place that fueled his passions and connected him with lifelong friends.

Joe had a deep love for technology, gaming, rugby, and photography. He found strength, community, and personal growth at CKO Jersey City, where he truly came into his own. Joe also enjoyed connecting with his friends both in person and online, forming meaningful, lifelong friendships, especially his close bond with Kenny, who was such a wonderful and supportive friend to him. In 2023, he met his girlfriend, Lizzie, whom he loved with all his heart. Joe cherished spending his days exploring the city with Lizzie and his beloved dog, Bean.

In April 2025, Joe faced a brain tumor diagnosis with incredible courage. After a successful surgery, he was moving forward with hope and determination before his unexpected passing.

Joe will be remembered for his kindness, his supportive spirit, and the way he made everyone feel valued. He is survived by his mother Nancy and her husband Roland Thurlow; his sister Alex Perdomo and her wife Zoe Adkins; his brother Sam Perdomo, Sam's wife Kylie, and their son Tito. He is preceded in death by his father, George Perdomo (2006). He is also survived by his stepsister, Kayla, and his stepbrother, Aaron, along with many beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Joe's warmth, love, and light will be forever missed by all who knew him.

A Celebration of Life honoring Joe will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bruno's Restaurant, located at 33 Allen Ave, Portland, Maine. All who knew and loved Joe are warmly invited to join in remembering his life, his laughter, and the joy he brought to so many.
