Joseph Peter Spallone, 81, of Mount Clemens, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 30, 2025. Born on August 29, 1944, Joseph lived a life defined by devotion to family, hard work, generosity, and an infectious sense of humor.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Victoria Spallone, his children Dena Spallone (David Friedel) and Daniel “Danny” Spallone (Nicole Spallone), his stepchildren William “Bo” Williams and Danielle Williams, and his cherished grandchildren Eden, Bennett, Ryder, Avilyn, Jordan, Jaxon, Holden, Ryan May, Lennon, Natalie and Logan. Joseph was preceded in death by his stepson Ryan Williams, his parents Anthony “Tony” and Victoria Spallone, and his brother Michael “Mike” Spallone. He is survived by his brother Chuck Spallone (Elsie Spallone), along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Joseph enjoyed a successful career, retiring early and continuing to work post-retirement at a local golf course and at Ford through Penske, where he was admired for his dedication and integrity. Beyond his professional life, Joseph was a man of many passions. He loved bowling, golfing, playing cards with his lifelong friends and family, traveling, and never missed an opportunity to be the center of attention on the dance floor. He especially cherished time spent with family and friends at the cottage, always sporting a beautiful tan and a big smile. An avid moviegoer, Joseph also enjoyed a good evening out with great food. A proud and loyal fan of Detroit sports, Joseph cheered on the Lions, Tigers, Pistons, and Red Wings with unwavering enthusiasm.

Joe was a man of faith and, together with Victoria, attended St. Peter Catholic Church, where he formed many lasting friendships and found strength and community.

Known as a hard-working, generous jokester with a big heart, Joseph brought laughter and warmth to every room he entered. His legacy of love, humor, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on February 25, 2026 at St Peter Catholic Church. Rosary at 9 a.m., mass at 10 a.m. followed by a luncheon in the parish hall.
