Josephine May Prichard

Josephine May Prichard passed away at the age of 96 on January 3, 2026, in Pueblo, CO. Born on September 2, 1929, Josephine was a cherished member of her community and a loving figure within her family.

Josephine was a devoted mother and grandmother, survived by her children, Dorie Wigt (Dennis), Debbie Mendoza (George), and Donald Prichard (Joella), along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Glen Prichard, her son Danny Prichard, and daughter Donna Prichard.

Throughout her life, Josephine had a passion for knitting, sewing, quilting, and gardening, activities that not only brought her joy but also served as a way to express her love for those around her. Her handmade quilts and beautifully tended garden were a testament to her skill and dedication. She also enjoyed dancing.

A viewing will be held on January 21, 2026, at Salas Brothers Funeral Home from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. The funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 am on January 22, 2026, at St. Joseph's Church, 1813 Oakdale Road. A graveside service will follow at Lakewood Cemetery, where a reception will also be held.

Josephine's warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy of love and care will undoubtedly live on through her family and the beautiful creations she left behind.
