Joyce Lucille Armstrong

Joy was born in Sacramento, California to Archie Monte and Lee Ola Carson, and graduated from Washington High School in Los Angeles and California State University Long Beach. She was a Taco Bell franchisee for 40 years and a Uniglobe Travel franchisee for 15 years. Joy is survived by her husband of 70 years, Richard Barry (Dick) Armstrong, daughters Kerry (Jon) Ellen Bunning and Kathy (Gunnar) Jo Andersen and grandchildren Brenda (Armand) Jo Banfill, James (Jenny) William Bunning, Thomas Richard Bunning, Ian Richard Andersen and Dylan (Tara) Kare Andersen, and great-grandchildren Jacob Armand Banfill and Jasmine Jo Banfill. She was predeceased by her sister Gay Lee Carson, her brother Jimmy (Susan) Kit Carson, and her daughter Kim (Robert) Lucille Alexander.
