Judy (Pool) Langdon was born in Albany, CA on 13 January 1945 and passed away on 15 July 2024 from complications of Alzheimer's dementia. Judy was the 4th child of Morris and Pauline Pool who preceded her in death. Her sisters Shirley, Margaret and brother Bob also preceded her in death. Judy is survived by Jack her husband of 56 years, 3 children, daughter Jennifer, sons James and Jeremy, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Judy grew up in El Cerrito, CA and attended El Cerrito High School graduating in 1963. She completed her Associates degree from Contra Costa College in Early Childhood Education.
She was a resident of Elk Grove, CA for the last 12 years, prior to that she and Jack lived in Knaresborough, England in the North Yorkshire area for 11 years. While there they had the opportunity to travel to many other countries. As a Navy wife for 20 years, traveling was something she had gotten used to as there were many other places she resided.
Judy wore many hats during her life; some of her favorites were great-grandma, GramaJudy, Mom, Navy wife, and Ms. Judy (Primary Plus teacher for 4-year-olds). Of all the things she did, her favorite accomplishment was that of artist. While living in England for 11 years she became very active in the Wet Canvas artist group.
She enjoyed going shopping with her daughter and granddaughter (much to Jack's chagrin.) Although she was not a big football fan, she loved Jack and didn't complain (much) when they went to the 49er games. Those who knew her best knew her love of liver (NOT) and the story of how her sister Margaret "saved her" when she was in 2nd grade. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma and she is truly missed.
