Judy Bremer-Taxman

1944 - 2026

Judy Bremer-Taxman (née Langsdorf) passed away peacefully at home in Saint Louis, Missouri, on February 15, 2026, at the age of 81. Born on October 1, 1944, in Saint Louis, Judy lived a life filled with love, resilience, and dedication to those around her.

Judy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Paul Taxman; her children, Paige and Jef Bremer; her sister, Barbara Langsdorf; her brother, Robert Langsdorf; her cousin Carol, who was like a sister to her; and her parents, Arthur and Edna Langsdorf. Despite enduring these profound losses, Judy's unwavering faith and kind spirit allowed her to bring warmth and love to everyone she encountered.

She will be lovingly remembered by many whose lives she touched. This includes her cousins Dennis (Clydea) Hampel and Mike (Linda) Kalinowski; daughter-in-law Michelle Chapman; step-sister Keri Kolb; niece Rachel Kolb; brother-in-law Philip (Maria) Taxman; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Judy also cherished the relationships she built with adopted families Curt Baumgartner, Ted Constantin, the Nguyens (Jennifer, Lily, Kevin, Michael, Brittany), Lisa Ochiltree, and Sue Myers. She was surrounded by wonderful neighbors and compassionate caregivers who enriched her life.

Judy led an active and fulfilling life. She raised two children while pursuing successful careers across various fields. She played a pivotal role in developing Kennelwood Pet Resort and owned two grooming salons as well as a stencil shop. Her talents extended beyond business ownership—she traveled the world delivering motivational speeches through Toastmasters International and was instrumental in helping her husband Paul establish and manage his business ventures.

Judy's kindness mirrored that of her mother's—a trait that left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her ability to make others feel loved and special was a testament to the strength of her character despite the challenges she faced.

Judy will be deeply missed but forever held in the hearts of those who knew her. In honor of Judy's memory, donations can be made to the Humane Society. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

May Judy's legacy of love and kindness continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
