Judy (Marklin) Harrington

Judy Harrington, age 76, passed away peacefully on December 28, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on December 3, 1949, in the same city she called home throughout her life, Judy's journey was one of love, dedication, and deep connection to family and community.

For over 27 years, Judy worked as a hair stylist with Castner Knott. Her work was more than a profession—it was an extension of her generous spirit and desire to help others feel their best. She brought warmth and kindness to every client she served.

Judy was a devoted mother and MeMe whose love for her family knew no bounds. She is survived by her daughter Tanya Davis (Bart); granddaughters Zoe Thomas (Caleb), and Madi Davis; sister Bobbie Ventura (Frank); brother James Lyle (Tammy); and aunt Margaret Edgington (Ron) She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Moore Lyle and father Paul Marklin.

Her home was often filled with the comforting aromas of home-cooked meals and baked treats—expressions of care that reflected her nurturing nature. Judy found joy in planting flowers that brightened her surroundings and cherished the beauty of both the beach and the mountains. Whether walking along the ocean shore or enjoying mountain views, she embraced nature's peace.

Animals held a special place in Judy's heart, as did every moment spent with those she loved. Her life was defined by kindness, strength, and unwavering devotion to family. Judy's legacy lives on in the love she gave so freely, the values she instilled in those around her, and the countless memories created through simple joys and heartfelt moments. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we are grateful for the time we shared with her and take comfort in knowing that she is resting with our Lord.

A memorial visitation will be held on February 3, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at St. Stephen Catholic Community, 14544 Lebanon Rd., with visitation in the Holy Family Center. Guests are asked to park around the back of the church.
