Judy Munneke-Szeliga

Judy Munneke-Szeliga, 62, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, surrounded by her family after a 7-year fight with metastatic breast cancer.

Born on May 14, 1963, in Robbinsdale, Judy grew up in Mounds View and later built her life in Champlin. She married her husband, Rich, and together they created a lifetime of memories, adventures, and the kind of everyday moments she cherished most. Traveling with Rich, especially to national parks and places around the world, was one of her greatest joys.

Judy is survived by her husband, Rich; her daughters, Daniele (Nick) and Karlee (Drew); and her grandchildren, Owen, Shae, Nico, and Scottie. She is also loved by her extended family and many dear friends.

She faced her cancer journey with strength and grace, and her love for her family never wavered. Her presence, warmth, and steady support will remain with the people who knew her best.

A celebration of Judy's life will be held Sunday, December 7, from 1 to 4 PM at Mississippi Crossings (307 East River Parkway, Champlin). Family and friends are welcome to stop by throughout the afternoon to share memories and honor her life.
