Born on January 9, 1939, in San Marcos Evangelista, Jalisco, Mexico, Julia devoted her life to her family. A proud housewife, she created a loving home filled with warmth, tradition, and care. Her days were centered on nurturing her children, supporting her husband, and later cherishing every moment with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Julia's strength, kindness, and selfless love were the foundation of her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Maximiliano Cervantes, who passed away five months prior—a loss she felt deeply, as their lives were closely intertwined.
Julia is survived by her children: Maria Perez, Rosa Ruiz, Alicia Palacio, Santos Cervantes, Max Cervantes, and Rudy Cervantes; along with 18 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Though her presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, family, and devotion will live on in the many generations she leaves behind.
Funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Casa Bonita Funeral Home, 2500 Cemetery Lane, Stockton, CA 95204. Viewing to start at 10:00 a.m.
