Julian Allen Roy Cochran, age 39, passed away on January 22, 2026, from complications of advanced liver disease.
He is survived by his children, Matthew Allen Fernette, Jordan Daniel Fernette, and Lilian Hazel Cochran; his mother, Glenda Walters Hix; his father, Allen (Buddy) Roy Cochran; his siblings, Stephenie Walters and Christopher Cochran (Mandi); his grandfather, John Walters; his grandmother, Hazel Prentice; his chosen family, Aaliyah, Madison, Carter, and Kenzie; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, chosen family members, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Allen Roy Cochran Sr.; his grandmother, Barbara Jean Walters; and his stepfather, Todd Hix.
Julian was good-hearted, free-spirited, and never met a stranger. He had a deep interest in ancestry, history (especially Native American history), reading, and the study of religions. He could strike up a conversation or debate with anyone willing to listen. His journey on this earth was certainly unique, and if you had the good fortune of meeting him, you have a story to tell. He will be deeply missed by many.
A celebration of Julian’s life will be held at a later date.
