Julie Ann Beckler, 73, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2026, in Dunedin, Florida.
Born Julie Rishling on March 9, 1952, she was raised in Rensselaer, Indiana, before enlisting in the United States Navy after graduating high school, beginning a lifelong commitment to service and care for others.
In 1987, Julie became a registered nurse, dedicating the next thirty years to caring for patients in hospitals in St. Petersburg, Pasadena, and Orlando. After more than three decades in healthcare, she retired to St. Petersburg, a place she considered home.
Julie is survived by her four children: Jason Beckler, Justin Beckler, Megan Beckler, and Zachary Beckler. She cherished time with her grandchildren, whom she loved as “Nana”: Lila and Elliott Beckler (children of Justin) and Ash Zvonik (son of Megan). She will also be lovingly remembered by a fourth grandchild expected in April.
In lieu of a formal service, a private gathering of family and friends will be held in the afternoon of Sunday, March 15th at Northwest Park in St. Petersburg, Florida, where memories and stories will be shared in celebration of her life.
Julie will be remembered in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her—always and in all ways.
