Julius Giles Kopielski, 92, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026, in Prospect Heights, IL. Born on September 18, 1933, Julius led a fulfilling life.
Julius is survived by his loving daughters, Dianne McDonald and Leslie Martorelli; sons-in-law, Mark McDonald and Mike Martorelli; grandchildren, Kyle and Sean McDonald, Antonia and Alexandra Martorelli; and great-granddaughter, Virginia McDonald. A service to celebrate Julius's life will be held at St. James Catholic Church in Arlington Heights, Illinois, on January 17, 2026. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass at 10 a.m. The family welcomes those who knew Julius to join them in honoring his memory.
