With heavy hearts we announce the passing of June Adele Canney, age 89 of Safety Harbor, FL, formerly of Hamden, CT. She passed away peacefully at Suncoast Hospice in Palm Harbor, FL on November 30,2025.
She was born in Rochester, New Hampshire of parents Isadore (Tanner) Canney and Victor Canney and lived in Milton, NH.
Predeceased by 5 brothers Robert Canney, Herbert Canney, Edgar Canney, Vincent Canney and Sherman Canney.
She was the loving mother to John Vitello, Arthur Vitello (Laura), Steven Vitello(Dorothy), Richard Vitello (Renee), Patrick Vitello and predeceased by Michael Vitello. She was a loving grandmother to Arthur Vitello III, James Vitello, Natalie Vitello, John Matteo and dear friend Debbie Matteo and Alexandra Vitello. Great grand children Arthur IV and Alexander Vitello.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
