In Loving Memory of Karen Faulkner-Larsen
Karen Faulkner-Larsen, age 71, of Hot Springs Village, AR, passed away on February 14, 2026. Born on December 10, 1954, in Toledo, OH, Karen lived a life defined by service, passion, and an unwavering love for her family.
Karen dedicated 30 years to nursing and her role as an Activities Director. Her deep compassion for those in need touched countless lives, and she earned the genuine respect and affection of every colleague and patient she encountered.
Outside of her professional life, Karen was a woman of vibrant interests. She was a "Cheesehead" through and through, rarely missing a Sunday spent cheering for her beloved Green Bay Packers. She found peace in her garden and through the pages of a good book, yet she never lost her spirit for rock music or her talent for turning a house into a beautiful, welcoming home. To her children, she was more than just a parent; she was a truly remarkable mother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Erma Faulkner; her husband, Bob Larsen; and her previous husband, Mark Sutschek.
Her legacy lives on through her family: her stepmother, Elizabeth Faulkner of Alabama; her three sons, Joel, Neil (Alanna), and Tyler; and her five cherished grandchildren, Callay, Lily, Anthony, William, and Emily.
A woman of immense kindness and a generous spirit, Karen leaves behind a community of friends and family who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
