Karen Harman, born on January 12, 1947, in Washington, District of Columbia, passed away peacefully on the evening of March 9, 2026, in Derwood, Maryland. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final moments.
Karen was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and grandmother whose love and dedication to her family were unwavering. She is now reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Jack Harman; her son, David Harman; her parents, Frances and Philip Snitz; and her brother, Jerry Snitz.
She leaves behind cherished memories with those who survive her: her son Brett Harman and his wife Margarita; her daughter Michelle Harman and her husband Jason; her sister Eileen Kaufman; and her grandchildren Carlos, Dyllan, Tanner, and Adyson. Karen's warmth and kindness will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Karen's life will be held on Sunday, August 23, 2026. Details regarding the time & location will be announced in the near future.
