Born to eternal life on January 16, 2026, Karen entered the Gates of Heaven at the young age of 60. Devoted Mom and best friend of Kayla Nieth. Beloved sister of Jerilyn Hohenfeldt, Kenny (Lynn) McGuire, Nancy (John Koronkowski) McGuire, Bridget Fischer and Gail McGuire. Loving cat mom of Zadie and Gigi. Special cousin, aunt and great-aunt to many.
Karen was affectionately known to her family and close friends as Carrie. When she was a little girl, a song came out called "Hey, Carrie Anne". Her Mom sang it to her all the time and started to call her Carrie Anne and then, just Carrie.
Karen was an Estimator and faithful employee of Best Specialties, Inc. for over 30 years. She worked tirelessly and built many relationships with contractors and companies across the country.
Karen was a kind, loving person and the most wonderful Mom. She loved her daughter, Kayla, more than words can describe. She filled their home with love, laughs, faith and fun. She took pride in her yard and kept her gardens full of beautiful flowers. She cherished all the memories made with family, friends, coworkers and neighbors.
