Karen Marion Rascher

Karen Marion Rascher (nee Gleich), 84, of Oak Lawn, IL, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026.

Karen was born and raised in Sheboygan, WI. She was a life-long teacher at Garden Preschool and Kolb Elementary School (formerly Dearborn Heights School). She loved to travel, play games, host parties, decorate for holidays, swim in her pool, camp, and spend time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Marion and husband, Mike. She is survived by her devoted daughter Kirsten (Chris) Healy, her adoring granddaughters Amanda and Lauren, loving sister Diane (John) Kuck, nephew Jonathan (Laine) Kuck, dear cousin Joan Mathews, her Healy/Smith family, granddog Zeke, and many wonderful friends and family.

Visitation will be held at 9:30 am on Friday, March 13th at Trinity Lutheran Church, 9701 Brandt Avenue, Oak Lawn. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to Trinity Lutheran Church Scholarship Fund or The American Heart Association would be appreciated.
