Karen Jean Wolff, born on January 5, 1952, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, to Phyllis Jane Smith and Vernard Earl Slippey, passed away on December 10, 2024.
From an early age, Karen's vibrant spirit was evident. She was a majorette at Canton Lehman High School, where she excelled in baton twirling and won numerous competitions, showcasing both her talent and enthusiasm. After dedicating her entire career to The Timken Company in Ohio, she later moved to Clearwater, Florida, to enjoy her post retirement years.
Karen had a deep passion for learning and pursued many hobbies throughout her life. She took great pride in tutoring elementary students and was a student of health and wellness. Her love for horses led her to English-style riding and participation in jumping events. She also found great happiness in competitive ballroom dancing. As an amateur artist, she expressed her creativity and found fulfillment through art.
Karen is survived by her brother, Gregg Edwards; her sister-in-law, Janice Edwards; and her beloved nieces, Kerri Pocock and Charissa Sumerlin. She will be remembered for her enthusiasm, and spirited nature and will be missed dearly by all who knew her.
