Kathleen "Kathy" Ann Dean

Kathleen "Kathy" Ann Dean, aged 70, passed away on November 17, 2025, in Knoxville, TN. Born on September 12, 1955, Kathy was known for her fun-loving and friendly nature, touching the lives of all who knew her.
Kathy spent her career at Food City, where she was a beloved colleague and friend. Her hobbies included crocheting and diamond art.
She attended Redemption Church, Kathy's spiritual life was an important aspect of her community involvement and personal fulfillment.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Adolph Joseph Sickinger and Martha Dean Averitt Sickinger; her sister, Wendy Marie Havard; and her brother-in-law, Samuel K Jones Sr. She is survived by her sister, Teresa D. Jones, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many close friends who will miss her dearly.
Details regarding memorial services are to be announced. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the ASPCA or Vietnam Veteran Memorial fund, causes that were close to Kathy's heart.
