Kathryn “Katie” Elizabeth Ohlinger

It is with tremendous sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful and loving daughter, Katie, who died after bravely battling a long illness.

Katie was a successful sales associate and brought dedication and heart to her work. Above all, she was an incredibly devoted and loving mom to her beloved golden retriever, Molly, who was her constant companion for 11 years and a source of endless joy.

Katie is survived by her parents, Edward and Starla Charlene Ohlinger; her brother Ben Ohlinger, his wife Nikki, and their children Harper and Lennon; and her brother Jacob Ohlinger, his partner Sarah, and their children Kathryn, Rowan, and Emily. She is also survived by her Aunt Doris and Uncle Bruce Williams and family, her Aunt Julie Ohlinger and her children Ethan and Emily, and by her faithful companion, Molly.

A private burial will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026.
A Celebration of Life gathering will take place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 12:30-4:00 p.m. at The Women's Club of Bakersfield, 1806 D Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301.

Katie will be deeply missed and forever loved.
