Kathy Ann Holzhausen, age 61, passed away suddenly on January 5, 2026, in Edmond, Oklahoma. A devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, Kathy will be remembered for her kind heart, her infectious laughter, and deep love for her family and friends.
Born on April 27, 1964, in Corry, Pennsylvania, Kathy was the daughter of the late Harold Pudder and Juanita (Haslett) Turner. She graduated from Corry Area High School and went on to attend Jamestown Business College in Jamestown, New York, where she earned a diploma in Office Administration.
On June 16, 1984, Kathy married Russell Holzhausen of Buffalo, New York. In 1988, they moved to Springfield, Ohio, where they had three sons: Erick and twin boys Logan and Lucas. They moved to Oklahoma in June of 1997.
Kathy’s life was defined by the joy she found in the simple pleasures of summer. She could often be found tending to her garden, relaxing by the pool, or enjoying the company of her family, friends, and her beloved dog, Oliver. She had a spirited personality, enjoying rounds of horseshoes, trips to the casino, and the excitement of the horse races.
A true fan of country music, Kathy’s home was often filled with the sounds of George Strait, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, and Reba McEntire. She was also a gifted cook and baker; her famous "Corn Dip" was a staple at gatherings, and her "Christmas Crack" and Buckeyes were the highlights of every holiday season.
Kathy is survived by her three sons Erick Holzhausen, Logan Holzhausen, and Lucas Holzhausen (Bailey); her grandchildren Elizabeth Holzhausen, Jonathan Holzhausen, and Penelope Holzhausen, all of Oklahoma. She is also survived by her three nephews Nick Bimber (Amanda), Bradley Bimber, and Randy Bimber (Amanda Weed); and her great-nieces, Thalia Bimber and Octavia Bimber, all of Corry, PA.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Pudder; her mother, Juanita Haslett; her stepfather, James Haslett; her brother, Randy Pudder; and her sister, Connie Rogers.
