Kathy Schrimpf

Kathy A. Schrimpf (née McCready) passed away peacefully on January 21, 2026, in Chandler, Arizona, at the age of 74.

She was cherished by her beloved husband of nearly 50 years, James (Jim) Schrimpf.

Kathy was the devoted mother of Matthew Schrimpf, Robert (Jessica) Schrimpf, and David (Ashley) Schrimpf. She was the treasured grandma of Connor, Ethan, Tyler, and Alyssa. Kathy was the sister to Patricia (Dwight) Doxey.

She was warmly embraced by her extended family through marriage, including Michael (Sandra) Schrimpf, Mark (Patti) Schrimpf, and Pamela (John) DeBelak. Kathy's presence will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and her beloved fur grandchildren.

Professionally, Kathy dedicated many years to Reinhart and Associates before retiring.

In retirement, Kathy found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed playing golf under sunny skies, exploring new places through travel adventures with her husband, family, and friends, delving into her family history, and hunting for antiques and treasures.

Kathy's warmth touched all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved so dearly. We will be eternally grateful for the beautiful memories shared with her.

May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her. A Visitation will be held on February 6, 2026, from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass beginning at 11:00 AM at St. Matthias Catholic Parish 9306 W. Beloit Rd.
