Keith Raymond Ventura, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully after a hard-fought battle with ALS on December 21, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Matthew and Earline Ventura, and his brother-in-law, James (Jimmy) Bordes. Keith is survived by his loving wife and patient caretaker, Catherine Ventura; his daughters, Melissa Mattingly (Michael) and Alicia McCarthy (Casey); his stepson, Justin Shaw (Sarah); his sister, Michelle Husselbaugh (Eric); his uncle, AJ Dufrene; his cherished grandchildren, Max, Miles, Collins, and Anders; his nieces and nephew, Tayler Koerner, Torrie Bordes, and Britton Bordes; and his great-niece, Tatum Koerner, who all held a special place in his heart.
Keith was a lifelong fan of the Tulane Green Wave, and one of his final joys was being able to watch their playoff game surrounded by family and friends before his passing. Keith will be remembered for his love of family, his steady presence, and the deep care he showed to those closest to him. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
