Kendall Guy Creager II, 61, of Salt Lick, Kentucky and previously of Dayton, Ohio, died on December 8, 2025 after a courageous battle with an illness.

He was born on September 29, 1964 in Piqua, Ohio to Barry and Mary Jane.

Kenny is survived by his father Barry (Susan) Creager, mother Mary Jane (Alan) Weller, the mother of his children Christine Creager, son Casey (Heather) Creager, daughter Kansas Creager, granddaughter Isabella Creager, brothers Richard (Fulvia) Creager, Barry Creager Jr., sisters Debbie (John) Myers, Teresa (Carlos) Smith, Cathy (John) Lehman, Aunt Nancy, cousins Ruthann and Elizabeth, his favorite and dearly loved cousin Clifford, many nieces and nephews, previous in-laws Chris (Dottie) Johnson, his life long friends the Spurlocks, numerous other friends and family, and last but definitely not least his beloved dog Max.

Kenny was preceded in death by his stepfather Phil Boyle, his best friend and brother Marshall for over 40 years whom he never stopped grieving for, and his favorite uncle Cecil.

Kenny was a retired expedited freight delivery driver and machine shop and forklift operator. An occasional volunteer for the neighborhood association, remember Kirby the Cardinal?

Kenny was a passionate people person. He loved helping others and was a hard worker. His great sense of humor would always be the life of the room. He felt most accomplished if he was making you laugh. Who could forget his stories? Kenny was a poet for those who didn’t know it. He loved passing football with his son and rollerblading along side his daughter while she rode her bike. He loved watching comedies, action packed movies, and YouTube. He loved listening to music, going to concerts, cookouts, fireworks, swimming, bike riding, looking at the night sky, kayaking, climbing Clingman’s Dome, and liver and onions. Back in the day, he was very proud of his high score on Galaga and beating Super Mario Bros. Wintertime brought football, the Cleveland Browns of course and Springtime brought the Cincinnati Reds.

Most of all, a big kid himself, he loved playing and being active with his children and granddaughter. He did have a serious side and taught them to always wear their seatbelt and never be in a rush to get somewhere. He loved them dearly and always kept them close to his heart.

Kenny was very much loved, and he will be sorely missed by his family and friends. We can take comfort in knowing we’ll see him again.
