Kenneth James Bliss Jr, 62, born on August 19, 1963, in Ware, Massachusetts, passed away on January 5, 2026, with his son by his side in Round Rock, Texas.
A graduate of Tantasqua Regional High School, where he became a skilled welder by trade he took pride in working with his hands and doing things his way. Retired local 4 heavy equipment operator. He was a stubborn, hard headed man who stood his ground, spoke his mind and lived life on his own terms. A life long biker with a sharp sense of sarcasm. He had a personality that filled a room and left an impression you don't forget.
Ken shared 21 years of marriage with, as he would say his "poor wife" Cindy Bliss and treasured time spent cooking, laughing, and raising hell.
After spending his entire life in West Brookfield, Massachusetts he made the move to Texas during the final 6 months of his life to be closer to his son Jason Bliss and his grandchildren Beau and Ava Bliss who brought him great joy. Also survived by his son Kevin Bliss and grandson David Bliss.
He leaves behind his sisters, Rhonda Clodfelter of Eagle River, Alaska and Paula Smith of New River, Arizona; his father, Kenneth Bliss Sr of Alaska; as well as many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, and cousins who will remember his wit, toughness and unmistakable presence. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sylvia Jane of Brookfield, Massachusetts.
Though he could be rough around the edges, those who knew him best knew his heart was with his friends and family. He lived loudly, loved deeply and will be missed more than words can say.
A private Celebration will be held in Brookfield Massachusetts Summer of 2026.
