Kenneth R. Kirk, lovingly known as Kenny, passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 76, after a short battle with cancer. Born in Bell, California to William and Bertha Kirk, Kenny moved to Corona as a young boy and made it his lifelong home.

Kenny attended Corona High School, graduating in 1967, where he met the love of his life, Gile Bergeron. They married in 1968 and built a home filled with laughter, love, and neighborhood kids who always seemed to find their way to the Kirk house.

A devoted husband and proud father, Kenny is survived by his wife of 57 years, Gile Kirk; his sons, Doug Kirk and Erik Kirk (Ashleigh Acuna); his grandchildren Lochlan, Lily, and Mike; and Savannah, Ashleigh's daughter. He is also survived by his nephews Rick Abercrombie and Rhett Kirk, along with many beloved members of the Bergeron family. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Mike, Barbara, and Donna.

Kenny loved hunting, fishing and water skiing, with trips to June Lake and Havasu, where many family stories were made. He retired in 2008 after a long and successful career in sales with Coleman Company, Mitsubishi and Stylecrest.

Known for his loyalty, generosity, and handy skills, Kenny was always ready to help others. His pride and joy was his perfectly kept lawn, admired by neighbors near and far.

Kenny will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. John the Baptist Episcopal Church in Corona, California with a reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
