Kenneth Philip Vasta, 74, of Brandon, Florida, passed away on January 8, 2026. Born on November 4, 1951, Kenneth, affectionately known as Kenny, dedicated many years to his career in mirrors and glass, starting at the young age of 14. He was a valued employee at Modern Mirror in the Bronx, NY, before many years working for and then retiring from Corey Glass in Yonkers, NY.
Known for his grumpy yet funny personality, Kenny was a true character who loved the New York Yankees, bowling, watching game shows, and dining out. Most of all, he cherished spending time with his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Sherri Vasta, Michelle Vasta, and Kim Averill; son-in-law, Andrew Averill; grandchildren, Gabriella, Hayden, Gunnyr, and Andrew Jr.; brothers, Frank and George Vasta and sisters, Mary Sanin and Rose Farr. Kenny also leaves behind his nieces, nephews, sister-in-law, and brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy J. and Helen Vasta, and his brother, Roy D. Vasta.
A private celebration of life will be held in the summer. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to your local Hospice in memory of Kenneth. His legacy of laughter and dedication will be remembered by all who knew him.
