Kerry Michelle "Leggs" Clever, a vibrant and creative soul, passed away on February 22, 2026, in Orange, California, at the age of 72. Born on December 5, 1954, in Santa Ana, California, Kerry lived a life filled with love, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to her family and passions.

Kerry was the beloved daughter of Merle E. Clever and Gail Lilly and the cherished granddaughter of Mary and Leo Clever as well as Eunice and Byron Lilly. She is survived by her sister Kelly Turner of Colorado; her loving daughter Renee Langley and son-in-law Chase; her longtime companion Paul Ashworth; and her niece and nephews Colton Carolyn, Kyla Wulf. Kerry's family was the cornerstone of her life, and she held them close to her heart.

A woman of many talents and interests, Kerry had a knack for turning the ordinary into extraordinary. She found joy in gardening, cooking, painting, fixing things, and creating treasures from what others might discard. Her passion for horses reflected her deep connection to nature and animals—a love that extended to all creatures great and small. Known for her warm heart and generous spirit, Kerry never met a stranger. She cared deeply for the elderly and served as a steadfast caretaker for her family throughout her life.

Kerry's legacy is one of compassion and creativity. She embraced life fully until enduring five years of immense pain near its end—a challenge she faced with courage. In her own words: "I loved my life until I was cursed with five years of terrible pain." Despite these hardships, she remained fiercely devoted to those she loved most—especially her daughter Renee, whom she adopted with boundless love.

Kerry will be remembered as a caring and loving lady who brought light into the lives of everyone she encountered. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her best.
