Kerry Bootman Meyer

Kerry Bootman Meyer, 74, passed away on April 11, 2025, in Weatherby Lake, Missouri. She was born on October 7, 1950, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Kerry graduated from Shawnee Mission North High School in 1968 and continued her education at Kansas State University. She later attended the Research School of Nursing.

Kerry was predeceased by her parents, Bob and Jane Bootman of Fairway, KS, and her husband, Bob Meyer, Weatherby Lake. She is survived by her brother Steve (Barb) Bootman of McKinney, TX; her sisters, Nancy Biggs of Allenspark, CO; and Gail Wais (Robert) of Gilbert, AZ; as well as nine nieces and nephews. Though she had no children of her own, Kerry cherished her dachshunds as beloved companions.

In honor of Kerry's memory, donations may be made to Interim Hospice or the Weatherby Lake Police Department.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, April 11, at 11:00 AM at Hope Community Church, 8200 State Line Rd, Leawood, KS 66206, officiated by Ken Simpson. Per Kerry's wishes, casual attire.
