Kevin Hecimovich

Kevin Charles Hecimovich, 69, of South Saint Paul/IGH, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, in Spring Hill, Florida. Born on December 1, 1956, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Kevin was the beloved son of the late Michael and Phyllis Hecimovich.

Kevin grew up in Minnesota and graduated from SSP High School. He married his best friend Linda (Braatz), and together they created a beautiful family and life for nearly 50 years. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors and found immense joy in fishing, hunting, golf, and spending time surrounded by nature with family and friends. Known for his ability to bring people together, Kevin had a knack for organizing trips and sharing meals he lovingly prepared. A passionate sports fan, he enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams.

Kevin’s greatest pride and joy was his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his son Rick; his daughter Krystal (Ben) Lee; and his cherished grandchildren: Miles, Lila, Hudson, and Winston. He is also lovingly remembered by his sisters Mary (Larry) Hover, Connie (Tom) Kirkwood, and Michelle (Scott) Davis as well as his brother-in-laws David (Barb) Braatz and Craig Tvedt and also many nieces, nephews and treasured life long friends. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Michael and Phyllis Hecimovich; his brother Michael Jr.; and his sister Janet Tvedt.

Kevin’s warmth, generosity, and zest for life left an enduring impact on all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by the many people whose lives he touched.
