Kim A. Aitken, 69, passed away on January 7, 2026, in Santa Rosa, California. Born on February 1, 1956, in Columbus, Georgia, Kim lived a life marked by service, creativity, and deep personal connections.

A proud veteran, Kim served his country as a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. His time in the military reflected his courage and dedication—qualities that remained with him throughout his life.

Kim had a profound love for music. He spent countless hours playing and writing songs, finding joy and expression through melody and rhythm. Music was not just a hobby for him—it was a lifelong passion that brought him peace and connection. He also enjoyed traveling and took great pride in working on his home, always finding fulfillment in creating spaces of comfort and beauty.

Kim is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Anne Aitken; his sisters Camilla Ochlan and Cheryl Batson; and his brothers Ed Hill, Curt Batson, and Warren Hill. His family remembers him as a kind and loving man whose warmth touched everyone he met.
