Kim Denman, age 60, of Arvada, Colorado, passed away the week of January 4, 2025 in Colorado surrounded by her loving family, including her husband, daughter, son-in-law, and granddaughter.
Kim was born on January 16, 1965 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Al and Betty Breithaupt. Though her family moved throughout her childhood, she spent 30 years building a life in Destin, Florida and settled in Colorado for the past six years.
Kim devoted her life to the people she loved. She was known for her one-of-a-kind energy, optimism, warmth, and passion for connection. Kim found joy in time spent with family and friends, serving her community, traveling and exploring new and familiar places alongside her husband, and, of course, doting on her beloved dogs.
Kim is survived by her husband, Barry; her daughters, Kelsey and Renee; her son, Brian; her sons- and daughter-in-law, Eric, Karl and Marie; her grandchildren, Elizabeth, Erika, Isaiah, Maya, Nate, Silas, and Zoey; her great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Leo and Noah; her siblings, Al and Beth; her sister-in-laws, Monica and Zelle Cotton; her nieces and nephews, Albert, Clinton, Jessie, and Justin; and countless friends and extended family who were touched by her spirit.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Al and Betty Breithaupt.
