The family of Kimball Frank Chambers announces with the hope and peace of Jesus Christ, that on December 5, 2025, he passed from this life into the arms of Jesus.
Kimball was born in N. Adams, Ma. on February 22, 1952 to the late Kimball A. Chambers and Charlotte N. Chambers. Living with their parents, he and his two sisters, Elizabeth C. Pennington (George Pennington) and the late Ethel C. Dillensneider grew up in the tiny town of Monroe.
Kimball attended Drury High School where he met the love of his life, Sherry (Brayman) Chambers in their chorus class. They married on July 9, 1977 and shared 54 years of life together.
After a few years of wedded bliss, they began welcoming their children into the world. Amanda Katzenberger (Jason), Kimball J. Chambers (Hope), Leilani O'Toole (Edward), Stephen Chambers (Kylie) are all grown up now and are passing on Kimball's legacy through his 16 grandchildren, so far. They are Ryleigh Patterson (Lee), Christian, Adrianna, Elizabeth, Rebekah, Lydia, Patrick, and Danielle Katzenberger; Olivia, Kayden, and Charlotte Chambers; Levi, Rachel, Samuel, and Abigail O'Toole; and Nova Chambers.
Others that have been left to remember him are his mother-in-love, Priscilla Brayman, brothers-in-love Stephen Brayman (Carol) and Darryl Brayman (Tina), his nieces, Shaina Kosloski (Mark), and Brandy, as well as many cousins and some great nephews and nieces.
Over the years Kimball's love for life and Christ attracted people like a magnet and brought many people into his life that either became lifelong friends or others that he adopted and loved like his own children.
For all of those who loved him, we invite you to attend a Celebration of Life Service on January 31, 2026 at 2:30 pm at Hyde Park Baptist Church in Lumberton, NC with a time of visitation from 1-2 pm and reception to follow the service.
