Kimberly Sue Pyburn, age 68, passed away on November 23, 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee. Born on January 13, 1957, in Nashville, Tennessee, Kimberly was a beacon of warmth in the lives of those she touched, embodying the virtues of caring, love, dedication, loyalty, and resilience throughout her life.

Kimberly grew up attending Brick Church Elementary School and Ewing Park Junior High School before graduating from Maplewood High School in 1975. She built a commendable career, contributing her skills to several organizations including Baker Donelson, Bank of America, Bailey Mortgage, and First American Bank.

A devout member of Bellshire United Methodist Church, Kimberly carried her faith into her everyday activities and relationships. Her hobbies, which included reading, participating in a bowling league, and attending trips to the Mint, were a testament to her zest for life. Kim cherished her time with family, especially on her Florida beach trips. She was an avid fan of Vanderbilt University sports and the Tennessee Titans, showcasing her unwavering support and passion. Kim loved Country Music, especially Tim McGraw, Keith Urban and Brothers Osborne.

Kimberly leaves behind a loving family: her mother, Doris Ruth Pyburn; brother, William Craig Pyburn, his wife Tonia Pyburn, and much-beloved niece Celia Elizabeth Pyburn; and sister, Julie Pyburn Spencer and her husband David Spencer. She was preceded in death by her father, William F. Pyburn; grandparents, Fred Pyburn and Thelma Hite Pyburn, and Thomas Elmore Cole and Willie Pearl Cole.

The family extends a deep appreciation to Dr. Tracey Doering for always checking in on Kim throughout her medical journey. The family also expresses their gratitude to all the many healthcare providers who were with Kim along her journey. From the Vanderbilt University Medical Center nurses and care partners, to the many other doctors and nurses, Kim truly appreciated you.

Kim was the recipient of both a liver and kidney transplant. Although Kim never was able to meet her donors, she was forever grateful and a shining example for the value of organ donors.

A special thank you to Kim's life-long friends, Vicki Payne, Karen Fitzgerald, Julie Hoffman, and Donna Bates for always being faithfully by her side with love and support. So many great memories together that will live forever.

Visitation will be held at Bellshire United Methodist Church (1201 Westchester Drive, Nashville, TN, 37207) on Sunday, November 30, 2025, from 1:00pm - 3:00pm with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3:00pm.

In Kimberly's memory, donations may be made to Alive Hospice, honoring her compassionate spirit.

Kimberly's legacy of love, loyalty, and dedication will forever be cherished and remembered by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
