Kimberly Ann Wooten, a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on November 12, 2025, in Boston, Massachusetts. She was 56 years old. Born on January 12, 1969, in Boston, Kimberly lived a life full of love, adventure, and generosity that touched the hearts of all who knew her. Kimberly's journey began in her hometown of South Boston, where she attended Heights Academy Elementary and Cardinal Cushing High School. Her passion for helping others led her to pursue a nursing degree at Bunker Hill Community College. A dedicated student and member of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society, Kimberly excelled in her studies and carried that same dedication into her career as a registered nurse. She found immense fulfillment in her work with The Gavin Foundation in South Boston, where she made a meaningful impact on countless lives. Kimberly's life was defined by her unwavering kindness and boundless energy. She believed in living life to the fullest embracing every moment with an open heart and an adventurous spirit. Whether traveling to new destinations or dancing with joy at family gatherings, Kimberly brought light and laughter wherever she went. Her love for shopping was matched only by her love for helping others; she was always ready to lend a hand or offer support to those in need. Family was at the center of Kimberly's world. She is survived by her devoted mother Carol Coakley; father Bruce Bradway; bonus parents TJ Coakley and Helen Bradway; loving spouse Charles Wooten; former spouse David Weigel; cherished daughter Cassandra Weigel; and bonus children Charles Wooten Jr. (and his wife Mandy), Cory Wooten (and his wife Allison), Erica Wooten, Sara Wooten, and Jayce Wooten. Kimberly adored her grandchildren Dominic Wooten, Tyler Wooten, and Charlie Wooten. She also leaves behind her siblings Scott Bradway (and his wife Julie), Michael Coakley, Nicole Powers (and her husband Stephen), Christopher Coakley, Mark Baloya, and Christina Dearing (and her husband Ryon). Her nieces and nephews Kayla Ancheta, Jonathan Ancheta, Justin Powers, Lisa Powers, Madison Dearing, Ian Dearing, Camdyn Dearing, Caraline Dearing, Megan Coakley, Brendan Coakley, Jacob Bradway held a special place in her heart. Kimberly's great-nieces and nephew Rielly Olmos, Gabrielle Belcher, Rachael Olmos, Yessenia Velasquez and many loving Aunts, Uncles and cousins were also deeply loved. Kimberly treasured the lifelong friendships she built with Jeanne Hurley Wallace-Buckley, Peggy McPhail, Edward Reeves, Jennifer Morris, and countless others who enriched her life with their companionship. A lifelong Sister Scout with a deep commitment to community service and personal growth through scouting values, Kimberly embodied the principles of kindness and generosity throughout her life. Her belief that "the sky's the limit" inspired those around her to dream big and live boldly. Kimberly's legacy is one of love for her family and friends that will forever remain in their hearts. Her quick laughter could brighten any room; her eagerness to dance brought joy to every occasion; and her willingness to lend a shoulder or hand provided comfort during difficult times. She was an amazing mother to Cassie she cherished above all else a source of strength for everyone fortunate enough to know her. Kimberly Ann Wooten will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. May the memory of her kindness and vibrant spirit bring comfort to those she leaves behind as they honor the incredible life she lived.
