Kirk Alan Zumhoff, 75, passed away on January 5, 2026, in Venice, Florida. Born on October 31, 1950, in Richland, Washington, Kirk lived a life marked by intellectual achievement, professional dedication, and quiet resilience.
A gifted student from an early age, Kirk graduated from Kennewick High School in 1968. He went on to earn degrees in Business and Economics from Washington State University in 1973. His academic journey culminated with an MBA from Harvard Business School in 1976—an accomplishment that reflected both his intellect and determination.
Kirk devoted over three decades of his professional life to Ford Motor Credit, where he built a distinguished 35-year career. His work ethic and expertise earned him the respect of colleagues across the organization.
Despite facing medical challenges throughout much of his life, Kirk never allowed these obstacles to define him. He met each day with perseverance and grace, never complaining about his circumstances. His strength of character and unwavering positivity left a lasting impression on those around him.
Kirk was also a loving husband whose devotion and quiet courage enriched the lives of those closest to him. We are grateful Kirk and Nancy had many wonderful years in retirement enjoying time at their homes in Port Charlotte, FL and Newport, OR.
He is survived by his wife Nancy White; sister Jana Marquess; brother Mac Zumhoff; nephews Ben Zumhoff and Jake Marquess; niece Katie Marquess; one great-niece; and six great-nephews.
Kirk was preceded in death by his father Robert G. Zumhoff and mother Jane Y. Zumhoff.
