Kristin Nielson Jaques

Kristin Nielson Jaques, of Sun Prairie, WI, passed peacefully on February 23rd at the age of 86. Kristin was born August 15, 1939 to Virginia Story Nielson and Byron H. Nielson in Washington D.C. She grew up in Northbrook, IL and she was a proud alumni of Glenbrook High School. She made life long friends and found the love of her life at Glenbrook, Richard E. Jaques. They were married for 65 years. They enjoyed many adventures together. Kristin was a life long supporter of the Girl Scouts, having been a Scout, Camper and Leader. Kristin is survived by her Brother Byron, her three daughters; Kim Fiorenza, Kendall (Jim) Dolphin, Kate (Doug) Barton, nine grandchildren; Mari Fiorenza, Rob (Justine) Fiorenza, Maggie Fiorenza, Emily (Roger) Brooks, James (Emily) Dolphin, Will (Maura) Dolphin, Christopher Dolphin, Hanna (Andrew) Barton and Maddie (Hugo) Barton and her nine great grandchildren; Emmett, Jack, Aria, Owen, Connor, Lydia, Penelope and Teddy.
A Memorial Service for Kristin will be held, Saturday May 9th, 1pm, at First Unitarian Society, 900 University Bay Drive, Madison, WI.
In lieu of flowers consider donating to St. Jude children's hospital. This charity was dear to Kristin's heart.
